POLICE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS AND ASSESSMENTS

 

Police Entry Test involves a Psychometric Assessment Test. There are three parts to the psychometric assessment: verbal, numerical, and abstract reasoning.

The “Numerical” part is the mathematical part of the test which includes basic numerical functions of Year 8 and Year 9 NZ Mathematics Curriculum.

Questions are mostly based on Decimals; Fractions; Percentages; converting currencies; Increase and Decrease by Percentages; Speed, Distance and Time; Time differences between different locations around the world and flight time differences; and Number Sequences.
